Since I love sharing music with people, I've decided to make mix CDs for my sister-in-law and girlfriend who are both pregnant. The mix will be a compilation of songs with lyrics that allow people without children (such as myself) get an idea of what an amazing feeling it must be to watch your child grow.I heard this song -- "Always" by Plumb on my cousin's MySpace page it seemed like a great fit for the CD. Check it out! And if you have any good recommendations for parent-related songs I should include on the mixes, please share!
Always
Out of nowhere you came
From a little dust and a little rain
And when I looked down at your face
And when I looked down at your face
It showed to me the truth and grace
I will always try to keep you very safe
So open up your eyes, so they can look in mine
And see a small reflection
And when you close your eyes, I pray the thoughts inside
Are beautiful and true
I won't always be this strong
And I won't always be the one
To kiss the bruise or heal the scrapes
To wipe the tear drops from your face
But I will always love you more each day
So open up your eyes, so they can look in mine
And see a small reflection
And when you close your eyes, I pray the thoughts inside
Are beautiful and true
I will always love you more each day
I will always try to keep you safe
So open up your eyes, so they can look in mine
And see a small reflection
And when you close your eyes
I pray the thoughts inside are beautiful and true
I will always I will always ... love you.

Are you getting baby fever? Is there something you aren't sharing with us Lo??? ;)
Haha, I had a feeling I'd get this question...
And the answer is NO!!! I love chidren, but I'm not even close to being ready to have my own. For now, I'm just going to be a pro aunt. I can play and then give the baby back when it comes to the tough stuff!
Professional Aunt-ism is the best!
